Catherine Gaullier-Bougassas, Julie Labregère et Giulia Parma présenteront au 72e congrès de la RSA (Renaissance Society of America) à San Francisco un panel intitulé “Receptions of Ancient Greek Female Myths in French and Latin Literature and their Illustrations”.
Leur intervention aura lieu le vendredi 20 février et comprendra une conférence intitulée “Female Agency and Invention of New Forms of Writing : Receptions of Nicostratus/Carmenta and Io/isis” donnée par Catherine Gaullier-Bougassas, la deuxième intervention, menée par Giulia Parma, portera sur “Arethusa and the Question of Consent : Interpreting Sexual Violence in Premodern Text and Images” et enfin Julie Labregère évoquera la question du pouvoir féminin dans la conférence “Women’s Power and Island Space : Circe, Ariadne and Hypsipyle”.
